The voluntary POA is focused on the maintenance of the main road that provides access to all communities. 

 

The POA Maintains the first 1.4 miles of Big Ben Road from the mailboxes at Boardtown Road to the intersection of Big Ben Road and Gobbler Knob Road, AND 0.4 miles of Gobbler Knob Road for a total of 1.8 miles.

UPDATE

Burn Ban Suspended

Gilmer County Fire Rescue, City of Ellijay Fire Department ,

and East Ellijay Department of Public Safety have suspended the emergency outdoor burn ban.

​

Outdoor Burning Permits are still required.
